Gingerbread People Cooking
As part of Little Chicks learning on traditional stories they made Gingerbread people.
Mix together flour, salt, bicarbonate soda, ginger and cinnamon into a large bowl. Then add butter, sugar and syrup.
Knead into a dough and place in fridge for 30 minutes.

Sound Investigation
On Thursday we planned an investigation to see how far sound can travel. We used yogurt pots and string to create a 'telephone' and then predicted what might happen to the sound when we changed a variable in our investigation.

Our butterflies are released!
This week we got to say a happy 'hello' and a sad 'goodbye' as our amazing painted lady butterflies were released. The children were captivated watching them fly off onto their exciting new adventure. We are hoping to see them around our outdoor area over the next few weeks.
