Releasing our butterflies
The children were sad to see our painted lady butterflies go, but we have been very good at looking after them and watching them grow since they came to us as tine caterpillars. They have spread their wings and flown free.

Hands On Animals
We enjoyed a lovely morning with Kelly from Hands On Animals finding out all about the mini beasts and other creatures that she brought in. Some of us were very brave and either handled or touched e creatures. We learnt lots and enjoyed asking questions to help us learn more.

Gardening Fun
The Ducklings and Little Chicks have been enjoying preparing our garden beds ready for planting. They have been using different tools to weed and plant. They are learning lots of new plant names whilst helping to do this.

Look what we found in the garden!
As well as finding a young frog last week, we have know found a big adult frog. The children enjoyed observing all of its features and asking lots of questions before realising it back into the wild!
