Midwife and Doctor Role Play
Following on from our midwife visit earlier this week, the Ducklings created their own role-play scenarios. On Friday, the doctors were called, as a baby was about to be born! They will make very caring health professionals when they grow up!

Medical emergency!
The Ducklings have loved having our visitors in this week, talking about their jobs. The children have learnt so much about the different jobs and it is now lovely to see them taking on these roles in their pretend play.

Remembrance Day
On the 11th November at 11 am we joined in with the 2 minutes silence. Throughout the day we painted poppies and made play dough poppies. Ask the children to tell you why there are purple as well as red poppies.

Firework Dancing
In PE, we listened to Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks and we used scarves and ribbons to explore moving along to the music to create fireworks. We twisted, turned, swirled, leapt, skipped, spun around, twirled and much more! It was great fun and lovely to see them come up with their own…

Construction fun
The Ducklings have loved the new addition to our outdoor construction area - some old go-kart tyres. They were quick to create their own ideas of what to build with large construction equipment. They have built racing cars, fire engines and bridges.

Puddle fun
Last week we saw, heard and felt some torrential rain! It was great fun to go out with our puddlesuits and wellies on and explore the puddles and flooded, muddy field afterwards.
