Chinese New Year Cosmic Yoga
In P.E this morning we did Chinese New Year Cosmic Yoga. We followed the story of the ‘Great Race’ which decided on which animal would represent which year in the Chinese Zodiac. We copied the poses for each animal and the Jade Emperor.

This week we are reading different versions of the story ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’. In maths we are looking at size and the children have been challenged with drawing a big bear, a medium sized bear and a small bear. Some children struggled to create a contrast between the sizes.

Investigating Ice
Once again we wrapped up and braved the cold. We managed to break off some ice from the field, it was full of grass.

We are pretending to be refuse collectors and sorting the rubbish according to what it is made of, plastic, metal and paper and cardboard.
