In Ducklings we love to share our hobbies and interests outside of school. We know a lot of children dance, swim, play football and have many other active hobbies and we love to hear about and share in our achievements.

Size Order
The Ducklings have been sorting the vegetables in order of their size and then using comparative vocabulary to describe them.

Measuring maths

The Ducklings love practising writing the letters that we are learning in phonics each day. Ask them to sing the Jolly Phonics songs for each of the letters we have learnt so far.

Learning to read

The Ducklings are enjoying learning to read during our guided reading sessions each week. They hold their books with care, turn the pages one at a time and tell a story from what they can see in the pictures. They have been predicting what might happen next and answer how and why questions.
