Nibby visits our class
We were very lucky to have a visit from Nibby (Arthur's daddy,) a children's book illustrator today. The children listened really well while he talked to them about his job and then they all loved describing their ideas for a dragon to him and he drew them each a dragon!

Snow Much Fun!
We just had to go out and explore the snowy weather today! We had so much fun! We compared the field to how it was a week ago during the very frosty weather. We practised our under arm throwing with snowballs and our rolling skills to make snow balls. We made a snowman and chose suitable materials…

Writing sentences
The Ducklings have been trying to write sentences, completely independently, with some of the tricky words they have been learning. It's quite tricky to make sure that you start with a capital letter, remember your finger spaces and end with a full stop too! Lots to remember!

Making bird feeders
We are helping to feed the birds during the cold winter months by making bird feeders for them. We also hope that it will bring more birds to our garden for us to spot!

Magnetic Materials
We have learnt that a knight's armour would have been made from metal. We have been exploring different objects and their materials to see if they are magnetic or not. We found out that not all metals are magnetic!
