Our first PE lesson
On Friday we changed into our pumps and went into the hall for our very first PE lesson. We learnt about the importance of listening to instructions and finding a suitable space to stand in. We listened to our teacher's instructions carefully for how to move and when to stop.

The Ducklings have been enjoying the sunshine in their gardens and exploring different forms of exercise to keep their bodies healthy.

The Ducklings have enjoyed doing gymnastics in PE. We started with balancing. moving along apparatus carefully and jumping from two feet and landing on two feet with control.

Under the Sea Dance
The Ducklings enjoyed their PE dance lesson on Friday. They explored moving like different sea creatures.

P.E. dance Understanding the World
Fantastic Football
The Ducklings have been practising their kicking skills in PE. They have been kicking with the inside of their feet and stopping the ball with the bottom of their feet. They have been practising aiming their kicks at targets and taking the ball for a walk around obstacles.

Welly Walks on Rainy Days
As part of our physical development and given how we are only encouraged to leave the home for a short amount of exercise, it is so lovely to see so many of our Ducklings getting outdoors, enjoying some fresh air and being energetic and healthy.

This week in Parrots
This week we had fun doing fundamental skills in outdoor P.E. Our autumn walk was lovely and we enjoyed collecting sticks, leaves and fruits which we sorted confidently. We loved having our bears in class on Friday! Have a look at the pictures.
