This week in Doves!

Sorting 2D shapes
We have been counting the number of sides and corners on 2D shapes. The children managed to sort up to 8 sided shapes! They are getting really good at naming the shapes too!

Fireworks Dance
Have a look at our Firework Dance. We used Handel's Firework music to inspire us and watched the fireworks over the weekend. We all enjoyed spinning, twirling, jumping and waving our bodies around as if we were fireworks. Everyone tried really hard to work together as a team. Well done…

Dodge skills
Our PE lesson today we practiced our dodging skills. We jumped from one foot to another trying to move away from the beanbag. Everyone worked in pairs; one person was the dodger and one was the thrower.
