today we went round the school to find out what goes on in fun Friday. We found quite a lot of interesting groups. First of all there is juggling Mr Vaughan leads juggling.

Lego : In Lego they make amazing buildings and then test them out with there own Lego figures .

The children have enjoyed bringing in their favourite toys to talk about. They could tell their friends what materials their toy is made of, whether or not they can move or make a sound and use words to describe them, such as hard, smooth, soft, cuddly.

Paying for our snack

We have been using 1p and 2p coins to pay for our snacks. Some of us have been able to add up the cost of milk and a piece of fruit and pay for it correctly!

* Falcons' Art Inspired By Bach
Today the children created detailed sketches of the composer Johann Sebastian Bach. Throughout their artwork they developed their sketching skills which also enabled them to create a contrast between dark and light shades through observational, detailed drawing. Well done Falcons!!

Parrots' Winter Walk!
This afternoon we got very wet and muddy when we went on a walk to look for signs of winter and spring. We noticed some of the trees already have buds, and we talked about the weather conditions. We also did some bird spotting. Here we are after our walk.

Hand Eye Skills KS1
This week the children enjoyed using their recently learned skills to play 'bench ball'.

Year 6 Dance
All of the Year 6 Falcons, with some of the Year 6 Eagles, took part in dance which was inspired by our Space topic. They created rocket shapes and imitated walking on the moon during their creative dance routines. Didn't they do well?
