Open Afternoon 'Chinese New Year'
The children (and adults!) had a wonderful time learning about Chinese New Year and taking part in our open afternoon activities. From building a Great Wall of China to ordering animals from the Chinese calendar, there was lots of fun to be had!

More Chinese New Year Open Afternoon
The children thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year with their families, making monkeys, folding paper fans, writing invitations, dragon dancing and pretending the home corner was a Chinese restaurant!

Open afternoon in Doves

Floating and Sinking
The Ducklings have investigated whether different objects can float or sink in our 'pond' like the Naughty Bus.

Disaster in Pompeii
Doves have focusing on Pompeii and the eruption of Mt Vesuvius which completely covered the town back in AD79. We wrote 1st person accounts of what it was like being there during the eruption. They are on display in our corridor. Do pop down and have a read if you can.
