Funky Hedgehogs
This week we have been using our funky fingers to make hedgehogs using matchsticks and potatoes. The children have also been naming their hedgehogs. This one is called Mrs Lees Watmough!

Babies
We were very lucky to have a visit from Freddie's mum and baby brother Jensen and Amelia's mum, dad and sister Georgia. We asked them lots of questions to find out more about how babies grow and change. We have also had fun this week looking at our baby photos and tried to guess who it is!

Hunting for shapes
In Mathematics this week we have been searching for 3D shapes outside. The children have been using their new knowledge of shape to find she's all around us.

Our sense of taste
We have been learning about our five senses this week. Today we used our sense of taste to explore different tastes, such as sweet, sour, bitter and salty.
We talked about how something that tastes nice to one person, might not taste nice to another. We all have different likes and dislikes.

We have been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes. Some of us have used lolly sticks to make our own shapes. Can they explain what makes a triangle a triangle?

Exploring taste
Today we have been exploring our sense of taste. The children enjoyed smelling, licking and eating different foods and describing how they taste.
