The new Ducklings have all settled brilliantly and have had a great time making new friends, learning about our daily routines, finding their way around the classrooms and enjoying their yummy school dinners.We are very proud of them all!

Beach Day

Beach day proved to be a big success. The children enjoyed a range of summer games on the field and water fun on the playground, topped off with delicious ice creams. A fantastic way to end our topic.

We had such an amazing day to the Sea Life Centre this week. The children not only got to touch and handle some of the sea creatures but also got to learn about conservation, breeding and ways to protect our oceans.

The children were facsinated this morning when they noticed the reflection made by a geoboard onto the floor. Chloe said, 'IIt looks like a glittering sword fish who's had its tail bitten off!'

Sun Safety

The school nurse came to visit this week to teach the Ducklings all about being safe in the sun. This will be very useful as the weather is due to be very hot next week. Please make sure each child has a water bottle, sunhat and sunglasses in school please!

World Music Day
