A visit from the Guinea Pigs
Today we had a lovely visit from Rory's Guinea pigs, Stars and Frank. Rory expertly told us all about how to look after them, what they like and dislike and handled them beautifully. Very one was excited to have a stroke with Frank.

A visit from Oscar and Della the tortoises
We had a visit from Ethan's tortoises and learned lots about how to look after them, where they live and what they like to eat. They children loved handling the tortoises and watching their behaviour.

Programming the Beebots
We have been applying the programming skills we have learned previously to move Beebots around a route to collect the flowers. It was lovely to observe the children supporting one another to apply these skills.

Hands on Animals

Programming the Beebots
In Technology this week the children have been programming the Beebots to moved around a track, collecting flowers as they go. The children know how to solve a problem if the Boobot moves too far or too short a distance.

Metamorphosis
We have been so excited to witness our caterpillars change into their cocoon states this week. The children think it's hilarious to watch them wiggle inside their new homes and are keeping a close eye on any changes.

Investigating Growth

A visit from the Fairies
This morning the children came in to a wondeful surprise. Some fairies had visited the classroom and left us a kind gift and a note! Over the coming weeks, the children will be helping the fairies to learn all about caring for our garden, taking photos and writing letters. How exciting!

National Litter Day

Creating vehicles on the iPads
We have been using 'Doodle Buddy' on the iPads to make our very own buses or trains. The children have been experimenting with drawing tools, stamps, stencils and different backgrounds.
