Right Start Road Safety
Today we have been continuing with our road safety. We have talked about safe places to play and have looked at how driveways can be dangerous as they cross our pavements. We practised crossing the school driveway safely.

Our super learning!
We have had a very busy and successful week in Herons!
In Maths, we have been learning to add tens and ones on a number line, we have been reading our new story 'The Great Kapok Tree' and in Art, we have practised our printing skills and have used Pontillism to create a rainforest tree.

Super singers!
Last night seven courageous members of Herons sang with Carleton Green's Choir at The Marine Hall. They sung two songs beautifully and we are all incredibly proud of them!

Fantastic PE
This week in outdoor PE we have been developing our kicking skills.
The children have been learning how to keep control of the ball with their foot and have enjoyed working with their friends to dribble the ball along the school yard.
