A visit from our local Police Officers
We loved PC Louisa and PC Scott visiting us, to talk about what they do at work each day (or night!) and some of the special equipment that they use. We loved being arrested and having a sit in the patrol car too! Lots of us would like to be police officers when we grow up!

A visit from a Fire Fighter
The Ducklings were very excited to have a visit from Mr McVitie, a fire fighter, to talk about the different roles that his job has, as well as just putting out and preventing fires.

A visit from the Dental Hygienists
The Ducklings loved listening to the dental hygienists talk about their important job. They were shown how to look after and brush their teeth and gums carefully for 2 minutes. They also talked about the foods and drinks that are healthy for your teeth.

A visit from an Optometrist
The children enjoyed the visit from Mrs Dewhurst to talk about her job as an optometrist. She told them how she checks out a patient's eyes and all about the different parts of our eyes.

A visit from the dentist
We had a wonderful visit from a team of dental workers who spoke to the children about their role at the dentist and how oral hygiene is vital to being healthy. The children got to be dentists themselves, wearing masks, gloves, and brushing the teeth of some unusual pets!
