Digging with trowels
As part of our whole school learning, the children have been learning to use trowels to dig. We have been talking about why it's important to dig up the roots of a weed, the important work of worms and why we need to wear gardening gloves. We most definitely have some budding gardeners!

Our Oxford Reading Tree characters

Our Family Wall

Making Silly Soup

Forming numbers
This week in Maths, the children have been learning tricks and songs to help them form their numbers correctly. We split into our house teams and practised writing numbers with our friends using pens and large paper. The children enjoyed seeing their groups efforts go up on display.
