This week has been Mental Health Awareness Week. We have talked about the importance of feeling 'well' on the inside, in our hearts and minds. Each day during the register, we have talked about how we might be feeling and why and have discussed what we can do if we don't feel happy.
Josh has enjoyed creating some art work to express how different parts of his body are feeling. In our live assembly time at the end of the day, the children shared and talked about their work together.
As part of Children's Mental Health Week the Ducklings have been listening to a piece of classical music - The Four Seasons by Vivaldi and have produced artwork to show how the music has made them feel.
To recognise World Mental Health Day which was on the 10th October, we have been talking about what we can do to help.
So we have decided to pledge 30 acts of kindness to spread joy and kindness to anybody who may need it.

In Falcons we discussed different ways to relax and unwind. In PE we took a few minutes to practise mindfulness yoga relaxation techniques.
Today we talked about how we keep our bodies healthy physically, but also mentally too. The children came up with some lovely ideas such as making somebody laugh, giving them a smile or a hug and asking a new friend to play with them.
