Owls Roman Day
During our Roman Day on Friday 21st April, the children across all three classes took part in a carousel of activities in the morning. There was Roman Road Building with Mr Cooper, Roman Shield (or Scutum as it was known in Roman times) designing with Mrs Harding and Moasic Art with Miss Howarth. In the afternoon the three classess came together for OAA (Outdoor Adventure Activities). We found Roman Numerals around our school grounds and as a team had to answer mathemtaical questions based on the Romand Numerals we had found. We also had a Roman Road obstacle course where we had to guide a blinfolded friend whilst looking for clues. We then had to read facts about Roman times which were scattered around the MUPA and answer questions about what we had read. Have a look at how much fun we had... What did you enjoy in the morning of Roman Day? What activitiy did you like in OAA? What do you know is important in OAA? What skills do we need?
