Writing Rhyming Strings
The Ducklings have enjoyed listening to lots of rhyming stories last week. We also played lots of rhyming games. Some of the children went on to write words of their own, adding them to a rhyming string.

1 minute pattern challenge
Last week we were exploring just how long a minute is and what we can do in 1 minute. Some children completed the 1 minute pattern challenge, to see if they could make a repeating pattern in just 1 minute! They used the 1 minute sand timers to help them.

Ducklings visit the church
On Friday the Ducklings visited St Matrin and St Hilda's Church as part of our RE topic. We were very lucky to be able to explore all the different parts of the church and its special artefacts. They thought of some interesting questions to ask Reverend Carolyn.

Making Easter Egg Patterns

Our Pretend Baptism
