Wyre and Fylde Dance Festival 2016

On Tuesday 22nd November 2016 some dancers across school took to the stage again, a week after their stunning performance at The Guild Hall. This time they performed at The WInter Gardens in Blackpool. The theme for Wyre and Fylde Dance Festival this year was ’Carnival of Dance’ due to the Olympic Games being held at Rio this year. Taking a gamble and a risk we decided to take the audience back to the roots of the Olympics and base the dance on Anicent Greek Olympic Games. The children told the story of where the olympics originated from and told this through dance very well. The audience LOVED IT!! The children were beaming from ear to ear whilst dancing their socks off. Yet again Ms Watmough and Miss Howarth were VERY VERY PROUD!! Well done all of you!!
