Arctic North Little Chicks Yoga
Little Chicks have been learing the art of yoga and how to pose like Arctic animals. We followed a story and acted out different Arctic animals through yoga poses. Little Chicks were learning to breathe when holding their posture. LIttle Chicks followed the cue cards instruction to get the correct posture. Have a go at home with the different poses. 1. Arctic North Little Chicks
Little Chicks are learning about the Arctic North. Role playing in the Arctic North , fishing, cooking, searching for Arctic animals.
Christmas party 2021
The Ducklings and Little Chicks had a fabulous time at their Christmas party. They played pass the parcel with forfeits, musical statues, musical bumps and loved the dancing competition. They each had a lovely treat baked by the school kitchen. A lovely way to end our first term at school.
Christmas Dinner 2021
The Ducklings and Little Chicks all loved their Christmas lunch at school, especially the sprout which they helped to pick from our garden!
Harvesting
The Ducklings have enjoyed visiting the school garden to harvest the sprouts and leeks that are ready to be eaten. The sprouts are ready just in time for our Christmas lunch in school next week. We can't wait to try them! Thank you for taking us Mrs Hicks!
Ducklings and Little Chicks Elf Run
A massive thank you to all of the families who have donated to the Brian House Hospice charity. The children had lots of fun and loved completing their Elf Run for this important charity.
Frosty Day Fun
The Ducklings loved getting outdoors and exploring the wintery weather left by Jack Frost! Lots of opportunities for talking and asking questions.
