Our first few days at school
The Ducklings have impressed us all with how well they have settled and enjoyed their first few days at school. They have adjusted really well to the daily routines. They are learning to follow our rules and are sharing and playing nicely together. We are also impressed with how they are exploring all of the different areas in which to learn and have shown us how well they can tidy up too!
Ducklings' Sports day
On Friday we had glorious weather for our sports day. The children all thoroughly enjoyed taking part in their two chosen races and also had the chance to join in with some fun races at the end too. Well done to everyone who took part, at home and school and especially to our Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners!
English in Herons
Today we have recapped verbs, adverbs, adjectives and nouns. We went outside, working in groups and arrnaged various words into the categories. We then put them all into verbal sentences.
Preparing healthy foods
As part of our healthy living week, the Ducklings have been helping to prepare healthy snacks and meals. Expert chefs in the making!
Making Clocks
In mathematics the Ducklings have been making their own clocks and showing different o'clock and even half-past times.
Exercising fun
The Ducklings have been enjoying the sunshine in their gardens and exploring different forms of exercise to keep their bodies healthy.
