Falcons creating moves to World War 2 imagery.
Today the Falcons were creating a dance which was inspired by imagery from World War 2.
Falcons Dad's Reading Event
The Falcons enjoyed reading their favourite book with their dads!! They also enjoyed sharing their love for reading with the class by creating an informative book review and presenting their thoughts about their book to the other Falcons.
Mr Ball Visits the Ducklings
Mr Ball is our Chair of Governors, but he came to visit us in his ’People Who Help Us’ role - a real life fire fighter! The children all listened very carefully and enjoyed thinking of their own questions to ask Mr Ball about his job. Some of them were also able to try on some of the special equipment that fire fighters use to do their job.
Reading Afternoon in the Ducklings
A big thank you to all of the Dads, Grandads, Uncles and other male family members that attended the reading afternoon. The children loved having their family members with them in class and sharing reading with them. This will hopefully enspire them to develop a love of reading too.
Autumn Open Afternoon in Ducklings
We had a lovely afternoon with our friends and families. We acted out the story of the Little Red Hen, decorated biscuits, made hedgehogs, painted autumn leaves, threaded wool around fir cones. made junk model scarecrows, counted conkers and lots more! A busy and fun afternoon!
