Democracy- making decisions about our learning

In Ducklings, we teach our children that their opinions are important and that their thoughts and feelings are heard and valued. We promote this in various ways and this week, the children all voted for their favourite Traditional Tale. We talked about why it is important to have your say and why your vote counts. 

As you can see by our tally, The Gingerbread Man will be our first tale to be covered within our topic.
