The Titanic disaster continues
25 January 2019
We are loving learning about the Titanic!
This week we have created newspaper articles, written the day after the disaster and have begun to write menus for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd class passengers.
Have a look at our work so far. We have not only written articles and menus but we have painted images of the disaster and written diary entries.
What has been your favourite lesson so far on the Titanic? What is your favourite fact? What do you still want to learn or find out?

My favourite lesson was when we wrote our newspaper articles.
My favourite fact was when the Olympic crashed with another in 1911 which could have been a sign that the material wasn't strong enough. I want to find out all the families that died in the disaster.

My favourite lesson so far was writing the diary entries and I liked discussing who was to blame. My favourite fact is that people heard Bruce Esmay tell the Captain to go faster even though he said he didn't. I'd like to find out more about what happened next. What happened to White Star line? We are going to visit the Titanic museum in Liverpool soon. I can't wait.
