Wow!

What a wonderful week of learning it has been. The cold, snowy weather certainly hasn't stopped the Robins from working hard!

 

This week we have enjoyed our wonderful pet day, the children had the opportunity to meet lots of wonderful animals. I was very impressed with Robins behaviour and the brilliant questions they asked the owners! Everyone learned lots of interesting facts. Thank you again to all of you who brought your pet to school, it was lovely to see the children having such a brilliant time.

Also the Robins had lots of fun on World Book Day!  Throughout the day we enjoyed asking questions to find out what characters the children had come to school as, the costumes were fantastic! We also made a block graph to show Robins' favourite Julia Donaldson book, it was The Highway Rat!

I enjoyed the snow. I was really happy when I saw the snow.
My favourite pet was a dog called Alfie.
My favourite costume was the Highway Rat. I was pleased it was voted the favourite Julia Donaldson's book.

My favourite pet was the frog that you couldn't touch. You couldn't touch it without special soap on your hands (or something like that!) because it would die. My favourite costume on World Book Day was Ava's witch costume because I liked the badge she had on. My favourite part of World Book Day was guessing who was who, and I enjoyed going into the middle for everyone to guess who I was. I was super excited when I saw the snow. I really wanted to play in it. I was going to make a snowman at break time but there wasn't enough snow left and they rung the bell. Mummy and Daddy took Evelyn and me to Beacon Fell on Saturday and we made a snowman there.

My favourite pet was a dog because they were so cute and furry!

I liked being able to dress up on World Book Day, my favourite costume was Holly’s unicorn ???? because it had a cool horn.

I felt excited seeing the snow even though it was freezing ?? I liked pretending to ice skate and throwing snowballs!
