The children have enjoyed bringing in their favourite toys to talk about. They could tell their friends what materials their toy is made of, whether or not they can move or make a sound and use words to describe them, such as hard, smooth, soft, cuddly.

Paying for our snack
We have been using 1p and 2p coins to pay for our snacks. Some of us have been able to add up the cost of milk and a piece of fruit and pay for it correctly!

The Ducklings have been using their phonic knowledge to read silly captions independently! We can check their understanding by looking at what they have drawn to go with the caption!
