Looking at changes in our environment
Just before the Easter holidays we had frog spawn in the pond. Today we couldn't see any frog spawn but 'loads of tadpoles'.
The children shared with me their knowledge of the life cycle of the frog. We will be watching closely to see the next stage when they form their back legs.

We have been practising writing our names. We first traced over our names and then had a go at copying our names and trying to form the letters of our names correctly. It's very tricky but we have given it a good try!

Frog spawn
We have found lots of frog spawn in the pond. What will the frog spawn turn into next?
Maybe you could google the life cycle of a frog and find out the different stages the frog spawn will go through before becoming a frog.

Strange Eggs!!!
When I was gardening yesterday I found these two enormous eggs in my flower bed! Who could have laid eggs as big as these?

Recognising Logos
We can recognise logos. The most recognisable one is McDonalds but we also recognised Lego, Costa Coffee, Smyths, Home Bargains, Aldi, KFC, Blackpool Zoo, Cadburys, bus stop sign, Heinz Ketchup and Babybel cheese.
