In English we are currently reading Kensuke's Kingdom. In our English lesson, we voted if we were for or against sailing around the world with our family for 6 months.

 

I would love to sail around the world with my family. I love to go travelling and have been to many places around the world including the West coast of America, Vietnam, island hopping in Greece and a Eurotrail tour of Europe. I have so many more places I would like to visit on my bucket list and to be able to do this with my favourite people would be a dream!

 

What reason can you give for sailing around the world with your family? What reason can you give against sailing around the world? Do you have any places on your bucket list you would like to visit?

I would like to sail around the world with my family because You can spend quality time with your family.
However, You will not have anyone to talk to apart from your parents.

One good thing about sailing around the world is seeing new places. This a good thing because you get to try and see new things.
One bad thing about sailing around the world is that you could fall off the boat. This is a bad thing because you could become a castaway or you could end up loosing your life.
The number one place I would like to visit is Australia because you can do many things and it is amazing.

I wouldn't like to go sailing around the world because you would be stuck on the boat all the time till you stop off at a country. Also it would just be you and your parents and no friends to play with.
Would however like to visit:
1. Florida
2. Paris
3. New York
4. Barcelona

I would like to sail around the world with my family because I want us all to swim with dolphins and whales. I would miss my extended family and my bed. I would like to visit Italy and see the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Canada
New Zealand/Australia

Italy
Mexico

I could go on but that will do for now! Don't think I'd cope sailing around the world...prob be seasick!

One good thing about sailing around the world would be spending quality time with your family and the experience of different countries

On the other hand you shouldn’t because a storm might hit and the boat might sink into the sea and you will either drown or die

A good reason for sailing around is that it would be fun and you would spend quality time with your family.
A bad reason for sailing around the world is the sea can be very dangerous and you could be becalmed.

On the other hand I would not recommend because we are ment for land so we don’t know what is out in the sea.

I would like to sail with my family for 6 months as I will see my family for a long time and buy my friends presents from the countries I visit however I the weather might change and you could get eaten by a sea animal

I wouldn'tall around the world for six months because it's just not for me and that you don't spend with your friendsor have that much for the food or do fun stuff. But the places I would like to go are.

I would not because it can be quite dangerous because you could drown! :(
I would go to these places:
1.Tenerife (I'm going there in these Halloween holidays)
2.Australia because of the heat and the coral reef!!
3.Egypt because of the heat as well :)

One good thing about sailing around the world is you get to go to places you can't afford on an airplane but you can afford on a yacht.
One bad thing is you might crash in the middle of nowhere and drown!!!
