Heron's Dragon Day

This morning something incredible happened at Carleton Green! We found a dragon's nest on the playground made of sticks and leaves - that was our first clue! When we walked into our classroom we found footprints all over the walls and doors - we thought the dragon might have been inside! To find the dragon, we made Wanted Posters and a giant 'Have you seen this dragon?' banner. This afternoon, we listened to lots of stories and shared our work with the entire school. We found lots of clues throughout the day as to what the dragon has been up to! We've had a really fun day! 

We have also worked really hard in Maths and English this week. We have been counting forwards and backwards in Maths. In English, we started our new story 'Blow your nose Big Bad Wolf'. We wrote some impressive character descriptions!
