On Wednesday 16th November 2016 some dancers across school took part in the Lancashire Dance Festival at Preston Guild Hall. 65 schools applied to take part and we were 1 of 14 Primary Schools who were selectred to take part based on our application. The theme this year was 'Once upon a time, stories and literature'. We chose the book 'Matilda' by Roald Dahl. Our dance explores the character Matilda and her journey through school with Ms Trunchbull along with her school friends including Amanda Thripp. The dance then ends with her meeting Miss Honey.

Can you identify; Matilda, Ms Trunchbull, Miss Honey and Amanda Thripp?

Thank you for an amazing day on Wednesday dancers! You made Ms Watmough and Miss Howarth VERY, VERY proud!!!

By just looking at the photos all the dancers look really good with their costumes and messy hair.
