Weddings

We have had lots of lovely dressing up items donated to our home corner. As a result of this, the children have initiated wanting to act out and play 'weddings!' To help with this, we have watched different videos, all about different types of weddings and talked about what happens in a wedding ceremony. The children then wrote and gave out their own wedding invitations and held some wedding ceremonies in the classroom. Miss Watmough and Mrs Strickland were special guests and Mrs Richardson was in charge of videoing the special occasion. The children played The Wedding March as the bride and groom arrived.
