10 November 2018

The children in Kestrels have loved starting our new topic all about water  this week.

We have set up our own experiment to see what happens to different materials when they are left in water for long periods of time and we have began to explore the book This Morning I Met a Whale by Michael Morpurgo.

We have also had our first session of BASH (Be Active Stay Healthy) from Fleetwood Town FC. During this session we learnt all about different food groups, what a calorie is and how many we should be consuming a day and we also talked about how we could get our 5 a day into our diet.

Carrying on with our theme of water - we all got a bit wet during our OAA (Outdoor Adventurous Activity) session this week, however we were all enjoying the lesson too much to notice the rain! Please remember to bring dry kits back for next week!

Why don't you comment below and tell everyone about your favorite learning this week?

Finally, very well done to Hannah who is our star of the week this week. This is for her positive attitude and always giving 100% to everything.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
