*Owls' Class worked with Dan Worsley
The children in Owls class loved having a writing workshop with Dan Worsley this week. He supported the children in highlighting a text to 'magpie' words and phrases that caught their attention and guided them their planning of their own story. The children created some excellent stories with wonderful description and fantastic vocabulary.
Owls' Visitor from Kingfisher Education funded by United Utilities
The children in Owls thoroughly enjoyed meeting their visitor Dave, who was representing United Utilities. He discussed the water cycle in great detail and how everyone can save water. The children learnt lots of exciting facts and have each made a water saving promise.
The Three Little Pigs PE
The Ducklings enjoyed acting out the story of The Three Little Pigs, moving to classical music. They made brilliant scary wolves!

The children in Owls have been enjoying the story Why the Whales Came to link in with our Water, Water, Everywhere theme.
