Sign language

Little Chicks are using Sign language in class to communicate with one of their peers who is deaf.

We have put up signs around the room to support learning. Mr Kenyon supports learning songs and words.

Little Chicks used the Atlas to find the North Pole. We used the index to find the find the correct page. We looked at where the children have sent letters to Santa Little Chicks shared the Altas to look at the different climates around the world.

Counting

Little Chicks have been learning numbers. Little Chicks were asked to find a number on the mat and hang it on the Christmas line. Each little Chick took a turn at identifying a number. Once all numbers were on the line we had to place in correct number order.

Funky dancing Robots

Little Chicks were dancing Robots. They followed the dance moves on the screen and moved with rhythm and beat. Marching, jumping, swaying, clapping using coordination to create the moves.
