Group maths
This week we have been thinking about exchanging when adding two numbers together.
Yesterday, we worked in small groups to show the different ways we could show how we do this using place value charts alongside the column method.

Stone Age Painting
On Monday, half of the class enjoyed a special lesson with Mrs Hicks. As part of our project on the stone age the children tried to make their own paint as they did 1000's of years ago.

Great start to the year
Well done to all of Kestrels for an excellent start to the year.

Summer 1
Kestrels are really enjoying their topic on Ancient Greece.
This week we have been writing our own versions of Greek myths. We will add these to our class library with our other writing. The children love picking up these books, finding their own and work and reading their classmates.
