Sequencing seed to flower

This week in math we are sequencing events and stories. In this activity the children had to order the pictures to show the sequence of events of the planting and growth of a seed into a flower.

1. Put soil in the plant pot.

2. Sprinkle on the seeds.

3. Water the seeds.

4. The stem and leaves start to grow.

5. A flower bud appears.

6. The flower bud opens.

The children then copied or traced over the words, soil, seed, water, leaves, bud and flower.
