Handa's Surprise fruit snacks

Throughout the week Little Chicks will try a different fruit for their snack.

Monday we tried mango

Little Chicks find their name cards, use tongs to reach for mango, pour their milk and pack away when finished.

 

Miss Taylor "What does it taste like?"

Joakim "It was juicy."

Lyla "Tasty"

Jenson "Tasty"

Penelope "Juicy"

Otis "Tasty"

Harley "This is delicious."

Gracie "It's juicy, I like it."

Alfie "Juicy, lemons."

Darcie "It's like lemons."

 

Tuesday we tried tangerines

Miss Taylor "What does it taste like?"

Alfie "Juicy"

Georgia "Orange"

Charlie W "Nice"

Penelope "Juicy"

Isaac "It taste like orange."

Otis "Tasty"

Harley "Juicy"

 

Wednesday we tried pineapple and avocado

Miss Taylor "What does pineapple taste like?"

Georgia "it taste like blackcurrant."

Emmy "Sweet"

Alfie "Lemons"

Jenson "Tasty"

Harley "Yummy in my tummy, beautiful."

Darcie "Yummy, like orange."

Joakim "Yummy"

We put a little avocado in a bowl to try with a cracker.

Miss Taylor "What does avocado taste like?"

Alfie "Onions, it's green."

Harley "It taste like watermelon."

Georgia "Slimy"

Darcie "It taste yummy."

Emmy "It taste normal."

Jenson "I did'nt like it."

Joakim "Nice"

 

Thursday we tried passion fruit with yogurt and avocado on toast.

Miss Taylor "What does passion fruit taste like?"

Jenson "Yummy"

Georgia "Blueberry"

Harley "Blueberry"

Alfie "Sweet"

Gracie "I don't know"

Charlie W "Pear"

Joakim "It's nice"

Emmy "I like the yogurt."

Penelope "Nice"

Miss Taylor "What does the avocado taste like?"

Jenson "Yummy"

Alfie "Sweet"

Harley "Yum"

Georgia  "A bit  yukky."

Charlie W "It taste like orange."

Joakim "It's nice."

Emmy "Iv'e already had a taste."

Gracie refused

 

Friday we tried mango, banana, pineapple and tangerine.

Miss Taylor "What does the fruit taste like?"

Alifie "Banana, juice, good, orange juice."

Charlie W "Orange taste like nice, the mango delicious, pineapple was delicious, banana taste like good."

Emmy "Orange taste juicypieapple tatsed yummy, mango like mango."

Isaac "Juicy, yummy, yummy, juicy."

Lyla "Grumbly, yummy."

Lucas "Nice"

Finley "Nice, that's nice, orange was nice, just tried the banana."

Henry "It was yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy."

Harley "Yummy, yum, yum in my tummy pineapple yummy."

Joakim "Yummy, good, nice, good."

Darcie "Banana was yunmy, yummt in my tummy, yum, yum."
