All About shapes

We have been learning all about 3D shapes and this week we are using different shapes to create other shapes and structures.

Harley has used squares and triangles to form a triangular prism as the roof of his house and squares to create a cube for it to sit upon.

                "It's an ice-cream."

The children are able to name some of the shapes they have made.

               "A cone."                                                          " A cube."                                                      " A cube."

              "A cuboid."                                            "A triangular prism."                       "Two cubes put together ma a cuboid."

          "I've made a shape."                                  "It's a sphere."                                                   "A cube."
