Comparing quantities

This week we are comparing two sets of objects and saying which has more or less.

We have also been seeing if we can spot when the sets have the same amount.

Little Chicks are also learning to recognise the numbers 1-5 and count out the given amount of conkers from a large group.

A lot of us are also getting really good at recognising sets of 1,2 or 3 items and saying how many there are without having to count them, this is called, subitising.
