What's under our feet?

On Friday afternoon we went out on the school field and dug up a patch of grass to see what was living underneath it. This was part of a national survey and something we will repeat at different times of the year. 

Little Chicks found 8 worms and a black beetle, whilst Ducklings found 11 worms, a spider and an ant!
