Welcome to our first weekly round up blog!

Doves have had the most fantastic week!

They have made me feel so welcome and shown what a wonderful class they are.

Every week in our Friday assembly we will be reflecting on what we enjoyed most, something we learned this week or something we are proud of.

Here is what a few Doves had to say this week:

"I liked learning to change font colours in computing." – Evie

"I enjoyed playing duck, duck, goose in PE." – Leo

"I liked getting to know my new teacher." - Lily

"I liked making the poster in computing" - Faye

"I enjoyed practising my handwriting" – Harry

We have also been finding the rule number sequences and cracking the code of Roman numerals in maths.

In Topic we have been comparing life in the Stone Age to our life now (see our next blog and home learning page for more information).

We learned how to say 'hello', 'goodbye' and 'how are you?' in French and designed our own avatars in RE.

What a busy week!

This week was Zachary's birthday, so we learned to sign 'Happy Birthday' for him. We hope you had a lovely birthday with us!

*****

Our star of the week this week was Holly! She has worked hard planning her non-chronological report and explained her ideas clearly in maths. Well done Holly!

Finally, the scores are in!

Our team points this week were very close!

Poseidon - 18 points

Athena – 15 points

Apollo – 14 points

Demeter – 12 points

Congratulations to team Poseidon!

I will leave you with this from Leo, who wanted to rally his team for next week

"We can do it!"

That's the spirit Leo!

We can't wait to see you all on Monday, have a lovely weekend.

Miss Hughes, Mr Powell and Mrs Oddy
