A visit from Hodgson

Three students from Hodgson came to teach Hawks all about the heart. The children were inspired and enthusiastic about this interactive and hands-on experience they had.The children now know the main parts of the human circulatory system and understand the importance and functions of the heart.

I really enjoyed doing the wordsearch, I learnt that a lamb’s heart works almost just the same as a human’s heart would!

I enjoyed their visit. I learned there are different parts to the heart.

I enjoyed seeing all the complexity of how oxygen travels round are body. I learned that the inside of the heart is pretty hard.
