Kestrels Class Assembly

This afternoon Kestrels performed our class assembly to our families and the rest of the school. 

We talked about what we have learnt so far this year in Kestrels and our highlights from our lessons. Max has really enjoyed learning about column addition and Alfie has enjoyed Roman Numerals. 

Some of the children then performed a gymnastic routine we have been learning in PE. 

We then talked all about our topic work on Electricity and explained how different appliances work off mains electricity and some off battery. 

Our class band 'Pick n Mix' then performed for us. 

We finished off our assembly by singing Electricity by Elton John. 

We really enjoyed putting together our assembly and performing it to our parents and families. 

We would like to say a big Thank You to Miss Barlow for working hard with us to prepare our assembly.

Kestrels, I am so proud of all of you. You all worked so hard on your class assembly and it was fantastic! You all spoke clearly, sang beautifully and took pride in what you were presenting. 

So many of your families and other teachers in school have told me how well you did and how much they liked your assembly!
