Wow!!! What an exciting day!

On Friday the Parrots were all very shocked to discover some very strange things at our school. After finding a huge nest on the playground, giant footprints, green eggs and blue slime we soon realised that a dragon and its baby had made a visit and were missing!

The Parrots all made wonderful wanted posters using brilliant adjectives, to help find the dragon and we used our knowledge of 3D shapes to make a new home for the dragon.

We have enjoyed reading stories and thought about why the dragon chose Carleton Green. The Parrots decided that the dragon was a friendly dragon, who needed help to find a safe place for the baby.

What was your favourite part of the day? How did you feel when you saw the nest? What kind of dragon do you think it is?

Fire breathing dragon!
I liked the blue slime. I thought it was a dragon when I saw the nest.

Favourite part of the day was seeing the eggs, I was amazed when I saw the nest too!!! I definitely think the dragon breathes fire but it’s a friendly one and would only breathe fire if it was scared by other dragons
