Science Week

This week at Little Chicks we have become scientists and took part in Science Week. 

Outside, we have been exploring bubbles. We filled a tuff spot with soapy water then used different sized hula hoops to make our bubbles. We even tried standing children in and dragging a bubble up around them!

During our circle time we investigated different materials to see which one would keep our teddy bear dry. The children thought carefully, and gave some good ideas as to why they thought a material wouldn't work.

We joined ducklings to create an exploding planet! We used baking powder, mixed with red food colouring and then added vinegar and watched what happened when it reacted!
