Exploring the Number 4

In Mathematics this week we have been thinking about the number 4. What does '4' mean? We have investigated this question and discovered it can mean so many different things. Four claps, four jumps, four beats on a drum, four dinosaurs, four children, four sticks....the list is endless! 

The children have been so busy showing us how they subitise numbers up to 4, how 4 is composed and that they can make arrangements of 4 objects.
