Parrots Week 3

Lots more learning has taken place this week in Parrots class; we haven’t stopped! We have enjoyed going on a hunt around the field looking for natural and physical features in our school environment. We used out knowledge from Science to discuss what materials we could see to!

We have done lots of work this week on adjectives; we played “I’m a Celebrity” to feel inside a bag, using different adjectives to describe what was in there. This helped us so much with our writing. We also enjoyed creating silly sentences after Mrs Davis gave us a sentence starter; I think my favourite was “One morning, Mrs Davis was a monkey because she likes eating bananas!”

Finally, we ended the week doing some PE with Mr Sharp; practising our different skills and showing him how amazing we are at hopping, skipping and jumping.

Mrs Hicks had fun with her outdoor learning; please do check the class page for a timetable as to when your child will be doing their session.
