Doves Week

This week we have been non-stop in class and it has been so much fun! Firstly, it has been our outdoor learning week, so we have been able to do some planting and learning with Mrs Hicks. We have also conducted an experiment, dressing jacket potatoes in different materials to see which one was the best at keeping the jacket potato warm. Our predictions were quite accurate but there were some variables we needed to change to make it more of a fair test. We took part in  a balanced debate for/against school uniform too! On top of all this we received a letter from Alfie from the Demon Dentist and can you believe it; he doesn’t think teeth are important! We spent some time learning about the teeth in our mouth and the important jobs that they do. Don’t worry we sent Alfie a letter back so hopefully he will change his eating habits!
