Hi Dove class and welcome back to a busy term that we have ahead of us. This week we have been getting to know one another and spending time as a class having lots of fun! We have taken part in out stunning starter which was a suspicious shipwreck left on the school playing field with skeleton bones inside! We decided to make playdough skeletons looking at how our bones support out frames and learning about the names of the different bones in our body. We also went on a treasure hunt finding different dates and facts about Wyre Estuary and then we had to put it onto a timeline. We enjoyed discovering lots of different maps in an old battered suitcase and from this created out own. Finally we wanted to know about the area we live and had to plot the different counties in Lancashire; we had fun doing this on a chalk version on the playground first!

Take a look at some of the pictures we took when we completed our stunning starter.

I have also attached the powerpoint presentation I did for the parents who wanted to meet the teacher on the home learning page. If there are any questions please do get in touch.
